May SCALE Meeting

At the end of May, Sierra Institute hosted a SCALE meeting in Jackson. Participants came from many collaboratives across California, and a number of agencies and partner organizations. The meeting featured a presentation on lessons from state involvement in federal forest restoration in Oregon by Phil Chang (Oregon Department of Forestry), as well as highlighting innovative work in California, such as the Forest Resilience Bond’s Yuba project, and the on-going efforts of collaboratives. Notes from the meeting are available online.
