- The Leary Firefighters Foundation grants (Letters of Inquiry due August 15) support paid and volunteer fire departments by providing funding for training, equipment, and technology.
- The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC): Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) (due August 13) helps schools and libraries provide the tools and services their communities need for remote learning during the COVID-19 emergency by supplying internet access and devices, including laptops and tablet computers.
- The CA Department of Parks and Recreation Locally-Operated State Parks Program (due August 31) supports the renovation of aging infrastructure in urgent need of repair within locally operated units of the California State Park system.
- The Pacific Gas and Electric Company Resilience Hub Grant Program (due August 31) helps communities build a network of local resilience hubs for climate-driven extreme weather events, wildfires, and public safety power shutoffs.
- The Campbell Foundation: Pacific Grant Program (due August 31) funds grants related to water quality, land-sea connections, and protection of special places.
- Ittleson Foundation Environmental Program Grants (Letters of Inquiry due September 1) help move individuals, communities, and organizations from environmental awareness to environmental activism by changing attitudes and behaviors.
- The CA Strategic Growth Council Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program: Agricultural Conservation Planning Grants (due September 10) fund the development of plans for the protection of agricultural land at risk of conversion to non-agricultural uses.
- The Bay Area Council California Resilience Challenge (due September 13) funds planning projects aimed at improving local resilience to climate impacts, including wildfire.
- California Fire Safe Council County Coordinator Grants (due September 15) assist counties with wildfire mitigation outreach and coordination.
- S. Fish and Wildlife Service Recovery Implementation Grants (due September 30) support the implementation of priority recovery actions for federally endangered and threatened species using Endangered Species Act (ESA) recovery plans.
- The Western Mining Action Network (WMAN) and Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN) Grassroots Communities Mining Mini-Grant Program (due October 1) funds projects that protect the environment, ecosystems, cultural resources, and community health from mining impacts.

- Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples: Land Defenders and Water Protectors program (rolling) supports Native-led actions against incursions, unwanted development, and extractive industries, as well as to response to climate change and threats to sacred sites in indigenous communities, lands, and territories.
- Papoose Conservation Wildlife Foundation: Children in Nature Grants (rolling) fund organizations that provide opportunities for children to experience and enjoy nature.
- Papoose Conservation Wildlife Foundation Applied Conservation Grants (rolling) fund projects focusing on the conservation of free-ranging wildlife or plant species in their natural habitat.
