The Stanislaus National Forest is proposing to charge new or increased fees at 31 developed recreation sites to conduct deferred maintenance and make improvements to enhance visitor enjoyment. Fees collected can be used to maintain the sites such as: Staff personnel and camp hosts to maintain the sites, all facility and maintenance needs including, toilet cleaning, supplies, bulletin boards, signage and campground amenities: picnic tables, site posts, fire rings, and parking spurs/ bollards, and other site specific recreation such as: interpretative programs and panels, benches, trails, and so much more.
