The SNC is now accepting proposals for its 2022 Wildfire Recovery and Forest Resilience Grant Program. Proposals must be submitted by January 31, 2022 and all projects funded under the current grant cycle must be complete by January 1, 2028. Up to $25 million is available for the current program cycle.

Priority projects include planning and implementation of forest health projects that promote wildfire recovery and forest resilience and support the goals of  California’s Wildfire and Forest Resilience Action Plan: A Comprehensive Strategy and SNC’s Watershed Improvement Program. Program funds were appropriated from the State of California’s General Fund in the Wildfire and Forest Resilience package of the 2021 Budget Act.
