In the news: McKays Strategic Fuelbreak Project

The Union Democrat recently featured the Stanislaus National Forest and Calaveras Counties’ McKays Strategic Fuelbreak Project. The nearly 1,000-acre fuels reduction project near Arnold and Calaveras Big Trees State Park was recently awarded a $2.1 million grant by Sierra Nevada Conservancy to complete the work.
